Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, comedian and performer most well-known for her role as host of the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from the same family which has experienced many issues. She was a lot of her youth taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. While she was growing older, there were many arguments between her mother and father. Sheryl claimed that in one instance, her mother had attacked an uncle of her daughter as she was getting closer to her. Sheryl, after graduating college, joined the army. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV career in 1992 being a regular performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating in The Talk as co-host. She's been in many fictional show such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
